National Live Fearless Day
National Live Fearless Day is held every September 2 and urges people to live fearlessly. This day encourages individuals to appreciate the people in their lives who have been there to support them. It also calls for people living without the best or fullest expression of themselves to pursue activities that inspire courage, such as taking a class, learning a new skill, or making a bold career move. We can practice fearlessness every day by being authentic and staying true to our inner selves. But, today is a special day when we focus on ourselves and recommit ourselves to personal growth!
History of National Live Fearless Day
Have you ever been faced with a situation where you found yourself paralyzed with fear? You were frozen in place, unable to act until someone or something shifted the situation, removing the pressure and finally allowing you to go forward with courage. Few of us can claim we have never been afraid of something in our lives. Let’s agree on one thing: life is unpredictable, and terrible things happen daily. There’s no way around it, and it’s impossible to predict.
Fear is a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, the perception of an enemy, or some personal threat. It is the feeling or state of mind that precedes the fight-or-flight response. Fear can also be a response to pain or discomfort and the unpleasantness of an emotional state such as anxiety. It can have many physical effects: increasing heart rate and muscle tension, quickening breathing, constricting blood vessels, dilating pupils, and accelerating metabolism. Some people experience fear as a painful sensation that results in agitation, while others may feel fear as more of a general discomfort than a particular emotional state.
Landry Champlin created National Live Fearless Day in 2020. The goal is to inspire everyone to face their fears and pursue their dreams. Landry started the movement after seeing countless people around her afraid to pursue their dreams because of fear. She was tired of seeing people living short lives, so she decided to do something about it.

Why We Love National Live Fearless Day?
A. Makes us confront our fears
It makes us realize and accept that fear is part of life. Fear can be a good thing; it keeps us safe from harm by causing us to be cautious, but it can also paralyze us if we’re not careful.
B. It makes us fearless
Don’t let fear stop you from pursuing what you want in life. It’s easy to give up on something when it becomes too difficult or scary.
C. Honor those living fearlessly
It is a day to honor those who have faced their fears and live a fearless life. They act as role models to us and help us believe that all is possible.
