Linwood is an unincorporated community in Linwood Township, Anoka County, Minnesota, United States.

Linwood is located on the north shore of Linwood Lake, 5 miles (8.0 km) east-northeast of East Bethel.

Anoka County Road 22 serves as a main route in the community.

History
Linwood Township was organized in 1871 from Bethel Township. It took its name from Linwood Lake.

Our Park and Recreation (PARC) area is provided for individuals wishing information on Linwood’s various parks. The Linwood Park and Recreation Committee has provided township residents with several parks from which to choose. All Linwood parks are located within a six-mile radius of the town hall and are open to the public. None have service fees.

Some parks in the township are controlled by Anoka County and may have posted restrictions and/or fees.

Also Go Anoka County is an online resource filled with information that identifies opportunities to engage in physical activity such as; biking or walking for transportation, exercising for pleasure, playing in the park, and/or using public recreation opportunities and facilities.

The goal is to:
Increase awareness of public parks and recreational facilities
Promote access and make it convenient for people to find places to be physically active
Encourage walking and biking.
