If you are thirsty, there are several coffee offerings, from a nice slice of small town service in Buffalo Books and Coffee to the name brand/chain brew houses as well. If you are looking for a different type of brew, be sure to visit Hayes’ Public House in downtown Buffalo. If you enjoy a wine tour, be sure Buffalo is on the map with Buffalo Rock Winery just east of town. Buffalo was home to the first Culver’s in Minnesota, so there are many great places to get fast, family friendly eats as well!

LAKE FUN
Buffalo is nestled between two beautiful lakes, Buffalo Lake and Lake Pulaski. A well maintained park system exists on both lakes. Facilities include playground equipment, boat launching sites and boat rentals, swimming beaches, athletic fields, picnic areas and shelters.

Located in Sturges Park on Buffalo Lake is the Parkshore Pavilion for recreational boat rentals. A nearly two-mile walking path and bike trail runs along the shore of Buffalo Lake from the library, past the Pavilion and down into Sturges Park.

At both Sturges Park and Lake Pulaski you can rent paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards, pontoons and fishing boats. Games such as bocce ball are also available for rent and can be used while picnicking in the park. Area residents can rent buoys for tethering sailboats, and rack space is available for canoes.
